This Privacy Policy explains how Konnect Insights ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use Konnect Deal Rooms ("Konnect DSR", the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to the practices described here.

1. Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of information:

Account & profile information — such as your name, business email, company name, role, and the platforms you sell, provided when you sign up or update your settings.
Authentication information — if you sign in with Google or Microsoft, we receive basic profile details (name, email, and an account identifier) from that provider.
Your content — the workspaces, files, notes, plans, comments, and other content you and your invitees create or upload in Deal Rooms.
Usage & engagement data — activity within the Service, such as room visits, time spent, interactions, and feature usage, used to provide analytics and improve the product.
Device & log data — technical information such as IP address, browser type, and timestamps, collected automatically when you use the Service.

2. How We Use Information

to provide, operate, secure, and improve the Service;
to create and manage your account and authenticate you;
to power Deal Room collaboration and engagement analytics;
to send service-related communications (for example notifications, security alerts, and important updates);
to respond to your requests and provide support;
to detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, or technical issues;
to comply with legal obligations.

3. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information:

With invitees you choose — content you place in a Deal Room is visible to the people you share that room with.
With service providers — vendors who host, store, or process data on our behalf under appropriate confidentiality and security obligations.
For legal reasons — where required by law, regulation, legal process, or to protect the rights, safety, and property of Konnect Insights, our users, or the public.
In a business transfer — in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this Policy.

4. Cookies & Similar Technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember your preferences, secure the Service, and understand how it is used. You can control cookies through your browser settings, though some features may not function correctly without them.

5. Third-Party Sign-In & Integrations

When you connect a third-party account (such as Google, Microsoft, HubSpot, or Salesforce), we exchange the information needed to enable that connection. Those providers process your data under their own privacy policies, which we encourage you to review. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of third parties.

6. Data Security

We use technical and organisational measures designed to protect your information, including encryption in transit and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service, and thereafter as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. You can request deletion of your account as described below.

8. Your Rights & Choices

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. You can update much of your profile information directly in your account settings, or contact us to exercise these rights. We will respond consistent with applicable law.

9. International Transfers

Your information may be processed in countries other than your own, where data-protection laws may differ. Where required, we put appropriate safeguards in place for such transfers.

10. Children's Privacy

The Service is intended for business users and is not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us so we can remove it.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will provide reasonable notice (for example by posting the updated Policy here and updating the date above). Your continued use of the Service after the changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
